Corporate Social Responsibility
An innate sense of social responsibility is core to our value system here at Specialist Group.
We are driven by our passion to achieve positive change for those around us. This begins with our Specialist team and we are committed to continuous investment in our staff.
We are a major local employer and have contributed significantly to the local craft industry as well as the wider manufacturing sector here in Northern Ireland. Our respect for our staff and dedication to their personal development is perhaps best illustrated by our Specialist Academy programme. This dedicated apprenticeship scheme has inspired a generation of craftspeople, many of whom now form part of our long serving staff. Alongside the professional development of our people, we are dedicated to the physical and mental wellbeing of our staff, as demonstrated by the inclusion of a company gym and employee wellness centre that form an integral part of our contemporary facilities at Specialist HQ.
Our commitment to people does not end with our staff, and we are immensely proud of the extensive legacy charitable work we have carried out over the years since our inception. Our Christmas fundraising drive is the highlight of each year and as a company we have raised in excess of £250,000 over a 3 year period. This was donated to a wide range of charitable organisations helping a range of worthwhile causes.
