Specialist Joinery Group lent their support to the Woodland Trust’s #EveryTreeCounts Campaign as a testament to our environmental and sustainable company ethos.

Our donation of £5,000 is in support of the Ancient Woodland Conservation Project in the Faughan Valley. The Ancient Woodland of the Faughan Valley current totals 200 acres of Woodland, with the longer term of objective to increasing to 1,000.

It is ranked highest in the Northern Ireland in terms of amount and quality of ancient woodland. However, the environment is fragile and under pressure from development, agriculture and the fact that many of these woods aren’t connected to other areas of woodland. The financial support provided by Specialist will assist the charity with protecting the area and preserving the habitat for future generations, making it more resilient to threats they face.
