Mental Health Awareness Week

The 10th-16th May marked Mental Health Awareness Week 2021.

This year’s theme is nature, the reason being that nature is known to have a big impact on protecting and supporting our Mental Health, reducing feelings of anger, tiredness and sadness.

Try to notice nature wherever you are; take some quiet time to reflect in your natural surroundings, spend time visiting natural places or try and do some exercise outside, whether it’s a run, cycle or short walk.

Millions of us have experienced a mental health problem or seen a loved one struggle. Healing takes time and asking for help is the first step, we must take time for ourselves and those around us, being there for each other when we need it the most.
