Real Wood Veneered Aluminium
Specialist Metal has developed a new real wood veneered aluminium product.
Up to 40% lighter than solid wood, it won’t warp or crack over time, making it an ideal choice for ceilings, atriums and feature walls.
Aluminium is a product of choice for many Specialist Metal projects, not least because it is one of the most plentiful resources on our planet. It is a sustainable and environmentally friendly material. The use of aluminium provides greater strength than solid wood alternatives, significantly reducing the amount of material required for any given project. With an incredibly long-life cycle, aluminium in itself is a highly sustainable option. The choice of real wood veneered aluminium considerably reduces the number of trees required for each project as compared with solid wood options.
Real wood veneered aluminium achieves all the structural benefits associated with the specification of metal products, but with the addition of a variety of real wood veneers, it can also make a stunning architectural statement.

Our modular aluminium framing system can be applied to frames constructed from 1” x 1” (25 x 25mm) hollow section aluminium profiles or larger.
