Specialist Group was delighted to receive the ‘Business in the Community’ award at the Mid Ulster Business Awards on Wednesday 8^th November. Giving back to the communities in which we operate has always been important to us.

To this end, as a team we have raised in excess of £1m for charity over the last 8 years. We’ve just enjoyed our 5^th annual Project Santa event, one that completely exceeded all our expectations in terms of money raised and experiences had. These large charitable events do so much more than just raising money for worthwhile charities, having brought together communities and lifted the spirits of those in the area at times when it has been much needed. The charity events also boost employee engagement and the morale generated through involvement is palpable.

We work very hard for our community and for our charitable giving and receiving external recognition for this means so much to us all.
