The Specialist Group ‘Aspire Talent Development’ programme is focused on upskilling Aspiring Talent within the business to have them be fit for the future.

The programme involved each participant working with a CCO coach for ten one to one coaching sessions across a 12 month period and taking part in a series of group training workshops. The participants were coached in developing competence in key areas such as; planning and project management, effective time management, setting SMART business goals, assertive communication and behaviour, delegation and the foundations for managing a small team of people.

Group workshops equipped participants with key communication skills using the Six Agreements of Collaboration and managing their own emotional health and wellbeing. All participants delivered a project which added measurable value to their department or team in the area of increased margin, cost reduction or improved processes.

This programme illustrates Specialist Groups’ commitment to the development of its talent pool and is aligned with the longer term strategy of growing their next cohort of managers and leaders from within the business.
