Apprenticeship Open Night 2026
Ahead of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, we’re excited to invite you to our Apprenticeship Open Evening on Wednesday 11th February, 4–6pm at our Maghera HQ!
Specialist Group has delivered joinery apprenticeships since 1988, building a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation and elite craftsmanship. Based at HQ, driving outstanding client satisfaction for future generations worldwide.
At the Specialist Academy Apprenticeship, you’ll benefit from structured learning, hands-on experience, one-to-one mentoring, and the chance to earn while you learn – all delivered by experienced professionals in our dedicated facilities. Going into the second year of our refreshed programme, which focuses on the bespoke nature of our business and life skills, you can also build skills that could lead to careers in areas like manufacturing, logistics planning, marketing, surveying, estimating, accounts and more.

At Specialist Group, we are proud accredited providers of NVQ Level 2 qualifications, supporting a long-established culture of excellence throughout our business. Our refreshed Apprentice Programme focuses on a range of bespoke, role-specific skills alongside essential life skills, ensuring our apprentices are fully equipped to succeed in both their careers and everyday working life.
Higher Level Apprenticeships
We’re proud to support six apprentices currently undertaking Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships. These combine practical, on the job experience with academic learning, with apprentices working on-site four days a week and attending university one day a week.
