Specialist Group is delighted to be a finalist in the SME Employer category at the NI Apprenticeship Awards 2021.

In 2015 we founded the Specialist Academy which is a standalone facility comprising of manufacturing shop floor, computer aided design suite, canteen, offices and meeting spaces. In 2018 we then partnered up with Strabane Training Services and developed a bespoke programme, combining City and Guilds Syllabus.

The Academy has had a fantastic impact by promoting a culture of learning and collaboration, allowing us to train each individual up to meet our needs. Apprentices bring some youth and vitality to Specialist, bringing fresh insights and new ideas.

We believe that apprentices are the lifeblood of the company.
