Project Ukraine brought people together quickly, raising £110,000 for emergency humanitarian support through the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
When the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine unfolded in 2022, our Specialist team wanted to respond in a way that could make a real and immediate difference.
Within just a few weeks, that intention became action.
Our people came together to coordinate logistics, volunteers and fundraising, turning an idea into a focused community event in support of the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
Employees, customers, suppliers and the wider community united behind the same purpose: to help people facing urgent need.
The response was remarkable.
Through the generosity of everyone who donated, attended and supported the event, Project Ukraine raised £110,000, with every penny donated to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
The funds helped support emergency aid and essential services for people affected by the conflict.
The donation was recognised by the Irish Red Cross, which acknowledged the impact of the generosity shown by everyone involved and the role it would play in supporting its humanitarian response.
Although Project Ukraine was created as a one-off initiative, its impact has lasted.
