Winton

Summary
Precision Under Pressure
A two-floor workplace delivered through acoustic joinery, tight alignment and controlled production.
Winton’s workplace at One Hooper’s Court was delivered across Levels 04 and 05, withSpecialist providing a £1.2m joinery package shaped around precision, acousticperformance and careful material coordination.
Working with Fletcher Priest and BW, Specialist delivered timber doors, wall panelling, acoustic timber panelling, ceiling panels, tea points, AV rooms, breakout areas, meetingrooms, reception areas, seating, planters and coat cupboards.
The project required close control across perforated ceiling and wall panels, with different acoustic ratings demanding a more efficient production approach. Specialist developed an in-house perforation process using multiple CNC programmes, allowing panels to move between machines quickly and reducing material lead times.
Alignment was critical, with very limited tolerance between doors, ceilings and timber wall panelling. Site templates, drawing overlays and close coordination helped protect accuracy before manufacture. A split first-fix and second-fix installation approach also supported high-level ceiling panel coordination around services and other trades, helping reduce risk on a demanding programme.
