A major hospital ward project delivered through HTM furniture, bedhead units and coordinated joinery.
Specialist delivered a multi-million-pound bespoke joinery fit-out package for Ulster Hospital, Dundonald, replacing an inpatient ward block built in the 1960s.
Working with Graham Construction and BAM Healthcare Partnership, Specialist’s scope included nurse stations, IPS panels, bedhead units and reception desks.
The bespoke bedhead units integrated essential services including gas and air, communications and waste bins, helping make efficient use of space while supporting patient comfort and staff access.
Pristine white panelling supported a clean healthcare environment, while colour was used to create warmth and visual interest. The project also created local employment, with a £1.5m HTM furniture package supporting jobs and training opportunities.
