UCD Science Centre

Building the Future

A university science centre delivered through modular laboratory furniture and tailored specification.

Specialist delivered the laboratory furniture package at UCD Science Centre, supporting one of Europe’s leading research-intensive universities.

The new Science Centre was developed as a transformational resource for Irish science, serving a university community of more than 30,000 students from over 124 countries.

Specialist’s laboratory furniture design and specification were centred around UCD’s requirements and processes within the lab environment. The modular range allows products to be reconfigured and upgraded as facilities change, helping support future teaching and research needs.

The project demonstrates Specialist’s ability to deliver laboratory furniture that balances technical performance, adaptability and user requirements within higher education science environments.
