Labs Built Flexibly

A major university campus delivered with modular laboratory furniture and clinical teaching fit-out.

Specialist delivered a fixed joinery and laboratory furniture package at TU Dublin’s Grangegorman Campus.

The project included the East Quad and Central Quad buildings, adding capacity for 10,000 students across 52,000 sq m of academic space. Facilities support schools from sciences and health, engineering and built environment, and arts and tourism.

Specialist provided laboratory fitted furniture including sinks, taps, eyewashes and Trespa worktops.

The modular laboratory furniture was designed to support future reconfiguration and upgrades, allowing spaces to adapt to changing teaching and research needs. The project demonstrates Specialist’s capability in education and clinical learning environments, where specification, durability and flexibility must be built into the furniture package from the outset.
