A technology-led insurance headquarters delivered through exacting joinery, veneer control and integrated fire door detailing.

CFC’s global headquarters at 8 Bishopsgate were designed to reflect the company’s position in technology-driven insurance, creating a refined workplace shaped around innovation, collaboration and precision.

Working with Structure ToneLondonand Cardo, Specialist delivered a bespoke joinery package requiring exceptional manufacturing accuracy, including large architectural elements produced to tolerances of one to two millimetres. An extensive veneer selection process supported seamless grain matching across expansive surfaces, while fire doors were integrated into wall panelling so they remained visually consistent with the wider interior.

From early design workshops through to installation, the project demanded close coordination, rigorous quality control and careful finish management.
