Design. Talent. Future.

Specialist Group’s Mix 30 Under 30 sponsorship connected emerging design talent with sustainable material use and in-house making.

Good design deserves recognition.

That is why Specialist Group supported the Mix 30 Under 30 Class of 2026, celebrating young designers and their role in shaping the future of the commercial interiors industry.

Hosted by Mix Interiors at Milliken’s Clerkenwell showroomin London, the event brought together the newest 30 Under 30 cohort, industry peers and sponsors for an evening focused on creativity, potential and connection.

For Specialist, the sponsorship was a natural fit.

As a manufacturing-led fit-out business, Specialist works closely with designers, architects and project teams to turn ideas into finished interiors. Supporting emerging talent helps strengthen that connection at the start of people’s careers – when creativity, curiosity and material understanding are still being shaped.

Recognition Made Properly

This year, the recognition carried a Specialist detail.

Design Technicians Rose Rogers, Laura Campbell, Clodagh McKenna and Ciara Lunney designed the trophies for the winners, with each of the 30 awards sustainably crafted from FSC® certified oak offcuts in Specialist’s low-carbon facility.

That is exactly the kind of story Specialist should be telling.

Not just sponsorship.

Not just attendance.

Not just a logo beside an event.

A real contribution, made through the skills and materials inside the business.

By using FSC® certified oak offcuts, the trophies reflected a more responsible approach to material use while showing the value of thoughtful design and careful manufacture. Waste became recognition. Offcuts became something worth keeping.

That is sustainable thinking made tangible.

Excellence in Everything

The Mix 30 Under 30 sponsorship reflects several parts of the Specialist story at once.

It supports emerging talent.

It connects the business with the commercial interiors community.

It shows sustainable material use in a practical way.

It celebrates in-house design and making.

It gives Specialist people space to contribute and be recognised.

That is what Excellence in Everything looks like when it moves beyond project delivery.

It is care in the detail.

Responsibility in the material.

Support for the next generation.

And pride in making something properly.

Supporting What Comes Next

The future of commercial interiors will be shaped by the people entering the industry now.

By backing Mix 30 Under 30, Specialist is supporting the designers, thinkers and makers who will influence the spaces people work, meet, learn and connect in.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 – and to Rose, Laura, Clodagh  and Ciara for creating awards that carried the message properly.

Good design deserves recognition.

Better still when the recognition is designed and made with purpose.
