Due to continued growth, Specialist Group is seeking to recruit experienced Workshop Joiners.

Essential Criteria

• Time-served NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the manufacture or installation of high-quality, bespoke joinery products.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Ability to manufacture bespoke joinery products from concept to completion with a high level of attention to detail.
• Good understanding of joinery materials, including previous experience working with laminates, veneers and solid timber.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to commit to occasional overtime to deal with peaks in demand.

Desirable Criteria

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience working in the commercial fit-out market.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
• Experience preparing cutting lists.
• Experience working with glass, metal or stone elements incorporated within joinery items.
